Why does my
nitro car accelerate slowly after it has been running?
Your engine is running too lean. Turn the high-speed needle counter-clockwise about 1/8 of a turn, and let the engine cool before running again. Why is my pull start
stiff?
The cause of this problem is usually over-priming. There is too much fuel in the engine chamber, preventing the piston from moving up and down. In other words, the engine is “flooded”. How do I get my
engine to start if it is flooded?
First, remove the glow plug. Then, turn your car upside down and pull on the pull start. The excess fuel should squirt out of the engine. Be carefull not to get fuel in your eyes! Replace the glow plug and then start the engine normally.
