Click the Start button on the Windows 95/98/NT toolbar, then select Run. Type "D:\setup" (without the quotes) then click OK. Substitute the correct drive letter for your CD ROM drive, if necessary. Follow the instructions on the screen.
Most CD ROMs require at least 8 megabytes of RAM and a "local bus" graphics card. If you are running Windows 95/98/NT, we recommend at least 16 megabytes of RAM. Also, make sure you have a current video driver for your graphics card. Running network software may also slow the performance.
Most CD ROMs require at least a double-speed CD ROM drive. If you have an out-of-date video driver, or a very old graphics card, this may also give you poor video performance. Update your video driver and/or your video card.
If you are running Windows 95/98, make sure your CDROM drive is configured properly:
Click Start/Settings/Control Panel.
In Control Panel, double-click the System icon.
Select Performance/File System/CD-ROM.
Make sure "Supplemental cache size:" = Large and
"Optimize access pattern for:" = x-speed or higher (Set according to your CD ROM drive speed).
